Vision/Action Boards
Have you read the "Secret" or the "Power"? No, well no worries. If you have read the two following books this simple exercise will help bring your vision and dreams to life. Get you some card/poster board the one's used for children for projects. Get a couple of magazines and or print some images from google. You will need scissors, glue and or tape. Use as many boards as you deem necessary for your visions. Maybe a board for your future home, a board for your next office/ business. A board about yourself, where do you see yourself in 6 months to a year. Board for a wedding /engagement etc. Cut your pictures out, organize them in bunches for each board and start designing your board. I like to add titles to each board. Put your boards where you can see them daily to motivate and encourage you to get things moving towards your goals. what if you no longer desire what you put on your board?
Sometimes our goals change in the midst of what we first desired for ourselves, if that is the case, take that board down and start a new one with new goals and ideas. These vision boards keep you focused, encouraged, and motivated. You can even make it a family project and the whole house can make up boards for short term goals. It's a fun project that creates hope and a process that allows one to become in the habit of setting and reaching goals in their life, home, work, and with self. There also has to be an action to your dreams/vision, you can't just post the pictures and just expect things to just happen,there must be steps you take to make the dream/vision a reality.
The Secret tells you to speak things into existence and the Power is sending love to all you desire. So speak it, post it to your board and send love to your desires daily as you make things happen. Hopefully Vision/Action Boards will always be a part of your life, as you grow, you get in the practice of setting and reaching new goals forever.
