Private Singles Club

OMG! I had a blast tonight! I had been bored with places, because the same people are at the same clubs every night doing the same things. I grew bored with all the line dances. Don't get me wrong I enjoy watching them, but after 3, I am ready to dance. What happen to free style dancing! Why must I be in an organized dance routine all the time. I know of 5, and there are new ones everyday. Hey different strokes for different folks. Then I came up with the problem of finding new places to go. So guess what? I joined a private singles club. Nothing but singles! Awesome! Now some people may be there in their life, some may not be in that place where they desire to mingle alongside singles. When you are invited to a lot of couple stuff, there are only a few singles, that too, becomes boring. Again don't get me wrong I am so happy for all you couples and married folk! I am also glad the spouses like and trust me, You can still invite me to your events. I may just put a limit on it. And by all means if I invite you to something I am having your spouses are surely welcome. So it's not about that. Singles need a place to mingle. That's why they have the singles functions at church for people. So most of the people in the club feel the same as I, so we already share a similar interest. Now as usual, with anything I have been joining lately, I am maybe one or number 3 of black people. The yoga I chose one or two blacks, this event one or two blacks. I guess what I'm saying is some of us need to reach out of our comfort zones and adventure out into the unknown. Try something different. Now as they say, insanity is doing the same thing over and over and wanting different results. Break away from your routine. I'm glad I joined, I am meeting new people, people I would have never met,and going places I would have never gone. I am very thankful and encourage you to try something new. Start small and work your way up, camping, ice skating, rock climbing, etc. Make a things to do this year list! The club is Events and Adventures

Well I have been stressed lately on things I have no control over and I already know let go and let God, but sometimes things just build up and as simple as those words are, today I am full of so many negative thoughts. Family

Family is a funny and a sad thing. We should consider family to be everything but they are not. Family is the first to stab you in the back. Family are the first to put your business on front street. They will curse you out and talk about you behind your back. I have come in contact with many people who have problems with their family. Members of the family who will put their own mother in a nursing home and steal all the mother's money. Members who will fight over an inheritance when they never saw or cared for the person leaving the money. Family who will stay in your home and not pay a lick of money on ie: food, bills,or cleaning supplies. Family that will turn their back on abusive behavior. True indeed we can not change the family we have been born into or the members of, but we must learn to allow them to be who and what they are and take it for face value. Many of us would enjoy going through a catalog of families and say "I think I want to belong to this family." ...
