The Minister at Prairie View
As the Minister Farrakhan approached the podium everyone in the audience stood up. I took some notes as he spoke, his words are not verbatim but you can get the idea of what he talked about. The Minister talked about how everyone in the world is complaining about jobs and justice. He went back to past presidents and reminded the crowd about how people have always complained about jobs and justice and should not count on the President to fix it for them. This year, this president nothing is different. He reminded people that the slaves built many buildings and we as blacks still have the ability to still do the same. We have become lazy and think things are to be given to us. We focus on degrees and education, we as a people are natural builders. He talked about the growing power of the land you are sitting on. If you are not sitting on some land then you need to buy some land! Use the land to reproduce. He talked from the bible which surprised me a little. He showed how people took the be fruitful and multiply in the bible to only being about children. We should be multiplying the earth with food, and livestock. Farrakhan spoke of how there is no other creature that God made that looks for another to provide for it. Only man looks for provisions. We should be leaving a legacy for our children, are we? International Bankers are the ones running the U.S. not the past, present, or future presidents. Roughly 49 million people are on food stamps now, 20 million are out of work, no jobs for soldiers, and no one is speaking for the poor! Someone has to speak for the poor. He went on about being grateful for being asked to colleges again, because he had been banned. He came humble, and in humility there is great power. He made jokes and talked about smoking, drugs, drinking and how we should stop all of it. We should care what we put in our body. People he is on twitter so follow him @louisfarrakhan.
