    First I want to say, its been a long time since I have read anything with such passion since E. Lynn Harris. Your words were amazing. Its almost like you were transported into the book, reliving it as the author did. I am telling everyone about this book. Move over Zane, there's a new bull in town and her name is S. Lynn Bryant.

Remember When We Use To...

Nothing to do-no where to go. No business to go to. Isolation. I'm lucky I have people to be locked down with I love. My daughter and two beautiful grandchildren. Family who call and check on me weekly. It's crazy being a provider/head of household all your life and now have to rely on your adult children and government to help you out. My savings were good for only a month, I usually have at least two months of savings but I dipped into it for small things, thought I had time to replenish. No regrets, it's all good. I at least had that. Some people had nothing. This stimulus the government is sending out is taking time and there is no real guarantee who will get it. Even applying for unemployment no guarantee. People thought of me and sent me links to apply for help. Clients call or text to check on me which is awesome. Then you have the small business loans they are giving out. Guess what you have to qualify for that so there goes that guarantee. Who the hell want loan...

Even the Blacks

Hard times are upon people and the people are speaking. They are mad. Mad that the President is not moving fast enough. They want and need recovery now. The people are saying why health care when we need jobs, If we had better jobs we could pay for our own health care. Then to top it all off gas is ever increasing. Gas or food for the family. Thank goodness for all the restaurants having value meals because that is what is feeding the people. I had a friend I talked to and this is what he was venting. He is self-employed, the bread winner, and he is upset. He is not even making half the money he use to and his family is feeling it. My words to him was hold on. Keep the faith. Everything will work itself out. He is the only black at the company he deals with and his is in agreement with the Whites. He says he is glad he has a black President but he is confused with his agenda. Hopefully there is a method to the madness of a poor economy. We just have to ride it out. I told him he has be...
